First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) today announced that its advanced
thin-film Series 3 photovoltaic (PV) solar modules have been listed by
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) as meeting standards UL1703 and ULC1703
for use in PV systems up to 1000 volts. This system voltage is typical
for utility-scale PV power plants.

our modules, which are the first thin-film PV modules to receive this

The company's modules were previously UL listed as meeting those
standards for use in PV systems up to 600 volts.
